E! - Red Carpet (2017-2020)

ROLE: Art Director for E!

GFX PACKAGE by Loyalkaspar

In 2017 E! commissioned Loyalkaspar with a major refresh of E!’s iconic LIVE coverage from the red carpet during Awards Season.
I was hired during this crucial time to help the on-air graphics department intaking a massive new graphics toolkit and developing all the variations needed to expand the new look to cover all the shows. Furthermore I was brought on board for all the subsequent years to work as art director and designer/animator, developing all the custom-graphics needed for each award show, sponsored content, as well as yearly refreshes to the package including preparing style-guides with guidelines and best practices.
It was important for this project to offer creative solutions with quick turn-around, working within an established look while expanding on its language and adjust to new trends.

People's Choice Awards (2017)

Some early design and animation ideas for the People Choice Awards brand when E! acquired its rights.

Ultimately a more on-brand look was developed to be consistent to other network properties, but sometimes the early explorations are the most fun to come up with.
